TECHNOLOGY, EDUCATION AND SOCIETY. TRAINING NEW CHALLENGES FOR THE XXI CENTURY

In the digital economy and the knowledge society, the knowledge and the standing learning have been converted in the base of the human existence. The information and communication technologies are combined and interrelated with the training for the construction of a global society of learning. In this new society, the need o a non-localized, flexible and opened training brakes with the pedagogical and organizational concepts of the classical University and states the need of a new model of University, based on the self-learning, the communication and the mixed systems.
