Economic reality is clearly being affected by the development of computers and other new technologies. In this paper examines the contribution to growth of those technological innovations to the Spanish Economy in the nineties. This is estimated within a growth accounting framework, looking specifically to the changes produced by the use of different price measures. It also compares the results obtained for Spain with those obtained in another developed economies by different authors. The results shows a significant growing contribution of the Information and Communication technologies (ICT) during the period, although is smaller than the role seen in other countries, like the United States.
