Dmitri Fujii Olechko Resumen:
Recent literature on Mexican industry has emphasized its uneven sectorial development: some sectors have been successful, while the rest remain well behind. Given these circumstances, the present paper proposes a particular division for Mexican industry in High-Tech and Low-Tech sectors. This division is based on technological and structural variables for two different samples of the nineties and verified for statistical robustness using the discriminant analysis technique. Massive incorporation of women into the labour force has been a generalised
phenomenon in most of the world during the current globalisation process.
However, the specific features assumed by such a phenomenon are conditioned
by the geopolitical context in which it takes place; it is necessary to

Margaret Maruani Resumen:
The spectacular growth of female labour activity, which dates back to the
early sixties, is a phenomenon that no one foresaw and which persists to this
day as could also be said of precarious employment, lower economic growth,
and heightened massive and structural unemployment.
In the economic domain, parity exists, at least quantitatively. But it does Archvo adjunto:
