The World Economy Society has awarded the José Luis Sampedro Prize during the World Economy Meeting held at the University of Jaén.
This year, the José Luis Sampedro Prize was awarded to the paper “Disparities and trends in the evolution of environmental taxation worldwide: The prolonged failure of the Kyoto and Paris Agreements,” by Sugey de J. López-Pérez and Xavier Vence.
An honorable mention was also awarded to the paper “Reducing global emissions through the relocation of production across countries: a linear program with an input-output model,” by Facund Fora-Alcalde.
